To further enhance this image, and as a testament to the reliability of the Ferrari product, we offer:

*Extended Coverage Plus must have been active in Year 4 to qualify for year 5 coverage.
Extended Coverage Plus
This option extends the original Manufacturer's Warranty by 12 or 24 months and is available for purchase through Ferrari of New England under these circumstances: 
  • At the time of the original vehicle purchase. 
  • During the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. 
  • When the New Vehicle Limited Warranty is about to expire - 60 days before and not more than 30 days after the expiration date. 

The Extended Coverage Plus start and end dates are fixed according to the New Vehicle Limited Warranty start date. 
Coverage
Although an extended service contract, the coverage of the 12 & 24 month Extended Coverage Plus offers the same advantages and coverage as the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

The warranty has bumper-to-bumper coverage, but excludes the following items:

Fading and deterioration of paint, chrome, & trim due to normal wear, abnormal exposure to the elements, or abnormal climatic conditions.

Normal maintenance services including, but not limited to:
  • Lubrication and filters.
  • Replacement of brake pad linings, clutch disc, pressure plates, windshield wiper blades, light bulbs, fuses, battery, and/or other related problems caused by failure to maintain the battery state of charge when vehicle is not operated for 7 days or more.
  • Wheel alignment, balancing, and adjustment.
  • Tires, which are warranted separately by the tire manufacturer.
  • Glass breakage, unless it occurs as a result of defects in material or workmanship.
  • Damage by use of fuel, oil, or lubricants other than those specified in your Owner's Manual.
  • Damage to the interior (soft trim) due to normal wear & tear, misuse, or negligence.
  • Damage caused by environmental conditions (e.g. acid rain).
Ferrari's obligation under the above warranty is limited to replacement or repair, at the option of Ferrari by an Official Ferrari Dealer (Ferrari of New England) at the dealer's location, of such parts as shall be actually defective and adjustments necessitated by such replacement or repair. 

Ferrari shall have no obligation under the above warranty for any replacement or repair that is necessitated by: 

  • Misuse, negligence, overloading, any type of modification, accidents, use in schools (including, but not limited to, driving, racing, or other schools), racing, and/or competitions.
  • Use of parts other than Genuine Ferrari Parts.
  • Unauthorized alteration or repair of the vehicle by anyone other than an Official Ferrari Dealer (Ferrari of New England).
  • Improper maintenance.
  • Use in a commercial context where compensation is exchanged (in whole or in part) for use of the vehicle including, but not limited to, any rental for limited, hourly, daily, lap, track, driving, racing, school, or other commercial use.
